Buying a Gift Card

You can purchase an Excellent Stores Gift Card at all store locations and online at www.myexcellentstores.com

In-store: In addition to the physical gift card that you will receive, you can also opt to have this gift card enabled to allow you to shop online as well. You will just need to ask the Cashier to do same.

Online: You will receive an online code to use at checkout on our website. In addition, you have the option to pick up the associated physical card from your nearest branch, which will allow you to use the same card in-store. You can also opt to ship this physical gift card directly to you as well.

E-Gift Card: If you purchase an E-Gift Card there is no physical card available. However, you can use your E-Gift Card code in-stores.

In-store: You can load any amount from TT$10 and over to your Gift Card.

Online: You can purchase preloaded Gift Cards in fixed denominations, starting at TT$50.

Please visit any of our branches to reload your Gift Card. At the moment online reloading is not possible.

Absolutely. You can purchase Gift Cards for special occasions, as part of a rewards and recognition program for you staff, as donations, etc.


Redeeming Gift Cards

In-Store: Present Gift Card to Cashier at the checkout counter OR if you do not have a physical card, the Cashier can enter your E-Gift Card code.

Online:

  1. Shop for items and “add to cart”
  2. Proceed to checkout
  3. Select shipping option
  4. On the payment option; Select “Apply Gift Card” and input or copy/paste the online code (gift card code), then click “Apply”.
  5. The funds will be applied automatically to your order during the checkout process.

Gift Cards can be redeemed at any of our Excellent Stores locations, as well as online.

Excellent Stores Gift Cards do not have an expiration date.

Excellent Stores Gift Cards cannot be returned, nor are they redeemable for cash.

Yes.

Online: You can enter as many Gift Card (codes) as necessary to cover the entire purchase or pay the remainder with any of the other payment methods. Once the payment methods used can cover the order total, the “Place Order” button becomes available, click it to place the order.

In-store: You can present multiple Gift Cards to the cashier at the checkout counter.

Yes, at checkout, the Cashier can enter your E-Gift Card code that you would have received via email.


Gift Card balance and Transaction Questions

In-store: You can check your balance by asking a Cashier at any Excellent Stores location. The balance is also recorded on the sales receipt when the card is used.

Online: On the payment option in your cart; Select “Apply Gift Card”, then select “See balance.”

No. You may choose to spend any amount you wish to. You will maintain the balance until you are ready to use it again.


General Gift Card Questions

Yes, once you enter an email address for the recipient, he/she will receive the digital copy of the gift card. However, the physical copy will be sent to you and you can give to the recipient.

Yes, once you enter the recipient’s email address a Digital Gift Card will be sent to them. A physical card will also be sent to the mailing address entered at checkout, which can then be given to the recipient as well.

Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Please keep your gift card safely secured. Treat your gift card like you would treat cash.

All refunds will now be issued in the form of an Excellent Stores Gift Card instead of a Store Credit Note.
