POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources (HR) and Marketing & Ecommerce (M&EC), the Multimedia Specialist will play a pivotal role in creating compelling and visually stunning content across various platforms. The incumbent will be responsible for producing multimedia assets (using text, pictures, sound, graphics, photos, video clips, animation etc.) that enhance our brand image, engage our target audience and drive sales. This is an exciting role that requires an overall forward thinking and creative mind with a strong eye for detail and excellent technical skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The main areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the Manager, HR and M&EC and Assistant Manager, M&EC to brainstorm campaigns, develop designs or create new photo/ graphic imagery for the use of E-Commerce merchandise and other graphics, videos, animations, etc.
- Liaise with various Partners/Influencers when needed, working closely with the Assistant Manager, M&EC to spearhead creative productions- conceptualizing, scripting, planning, shooting, reviewing edits.
- Work with the Manager, HR and M&EC and Assistant Manager, M&EC to maintain brand consistency across all multimedia content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and values.
- Coordinate social media content calendar; work closely with the Assistant Manager, M&EC and Ecommerce Specialist in scheduling and managing posts.
- Create and execute high quality work across a variety of mediums from photography, illustration, animation, video and audio.
- Perform a key role in various multi-media projects as required, from conceptual design, to project management.
- Work with the Manager, HR and M&EC and Assistant Manager, M&EC to create captivating videography using the video production lifecycle, including pre-production, technical execution, and post-production.
- Optimize multimedia content for distribution across various digital platforms, including website, social media channels and email campaigns.
- Process, colour correct, and perform quality control of all images/videos.
- Photograph products and models in studio or on location.
- Produce graphics for logos, banners, marketing materials, website and other publications as required.
- Generate images/videos for uploads for website catalogue in a timely manner.
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant cross-departmental teams when required.
- Develop and use skills in various and appropriate design packages such as Photoshop and After Effects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge/Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English A.
- A minimum two (2) years’ experience in digital photography required, including operating various computer controlled, job specific equipment such as DSLR cameras, lenses, various photo programs, lighting equipment, use of shared drives, proper computer settings and photo size/quality for optimal showcasing of items, proper use of backdrops, etc.
- Formal training/certification in graphic design.
- Experience in 3-D design, illustration, business information systems and computer science.
- Strong experience in the Adobe Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, & Illustrator).
- Excellent researching, writing, editing and proofreading skills.
