A Safe & Spooky Halloween

Its spooky season! Granted nothing is scarier than the year we’ve had, we can still make the most of our Halloween, while still following all the guidelines in place. While there won’t be any Trick or Treating around the neighbourhood, Halloween Parties and more, we have come up with some pretty fun alternatives. Trust us… you’re in for a ride…

 1.       Printable Trick or Treats

Nobody said you can’t trick or treat in the comfort and safety of your own home! Trick or Treating is one of the biggest ways to celebrate Halloween and with this Printable Trick or Treat sheet, kids (and even adults) will be able to participate in this classic game.

The rules are simple. Print, cut and place into a bowl. Now that we’re ready to begin, close your eyes and pick a cut out from the bowl. Treat means you win a treat right away! Trick means you must complete the task written before you get your treat.

This fun alternative is a great starter to a fun-filled Halloween family night.

2.       Scavenger Hunt around the house

A scavenger hunt is THE perfect Halloween game to play during a pandemic. You only come into contact with the people you live with. Children, adolescents, and adults can join in! We have provided a convenient, printable Scavenger Hunt sheet.

This game requires some planning ahead. Simply cut out the clues and place them around the house, in any order you like. You can even create your own clues! Each clue leads to another clue, and a mini prize or candy but remember, they all lead to the grand prize! Can you think of a better way to spend your Halloween? We can’t!

3.       Get Creative!

Covid-19 has significantly slowed things down. However, its time to take back the reigns and show her who’s boss. We suggest decorating those boring masks we wear every day. We get how uncomfortable wearing these masks can be… trust us, we know. But they are required for our own safety, and the safety of those around us, so why not spruce it up a bit? Safety but make it fashion! This gives the mask wearer a feeling of control over the situation.
